Adaptive Wing Design

Meanwhile the industry trends towards the “all-rigid” models, we have developed the unique Adaptive Wing Design concept,  offering the perfect balance between performance and comfort.

Wingfoilers know how difficult and uncomfortable it is to handle a stiff, handheld wing in the high end, especially if you are riding without a harness. A wing must be able to absorb that power, just like the mast bend or the opening of the leech in windsurfing or the depower in kitesurfing.

The Wing F-One STRIKE V2 concept Adaptive Wing Design transforms every gust into positive energy and enables a perfect control of the traction.

This new wing is designed to adapt through a controlled deformation that allows the preservation of a high-performance profile and unprecedented stability throughout the entire range of use.

To reach this result, we worked on the leading edge and modified the shape of the central strut. Its cut is now segmented, allowing for an improved control of its curve and its deformations. We also enhanced the wing’s twist.

A STRIKE V.2 is passion, smooth performances, power and control, lightness, strength, and durability.

Strike v2 Performance

With its unparalleled upwind capabilities, the wing STRIKE V2 will increase your free flying time or help you win races. The performance speed allows you to jump higher and to benefit from an excellent lift for landings. It has a compact design, with less wingspan than the V.1, that offers more possibilities for tricks and a much more comfortable navigation with your hands positioned lower.

Freeride

Through its constant traction, control, lightweight and stability, this wing is the perfect freeriding weapon, no matter your skill level. Power and pumping efficiency are two of is bigger strengths to get planing and exploit the low end.

F One worked extensively on the range of use of these wings, to guarantee you a great planing start and the possibility to ride, even in the lightest wind. Simultaneously, we wish to push each size as far as possible in the high end to keep your riding flow in any conditions.

New Wing Foil Strike V2 sizes

The ideal minimum area of a wing can be 2.5m and the maximum 5.5m without using our 3-strut CWC patent. The STRIKE V.2 will therefore be available from 2.5m to 5.5m, and will offer a new size distribution with: 2,5 m – 3m – 3,5m – 4m – 4,5m – 5 m – 5,5m

This could also allow heavier riders to choose among 3.5m – 4.5m – 5.5m, and the lighter ones to pick between 3m – 4m – 5m.
